At The Intrepid Explorer we like our toiletries to be:

Essential skincare products for us includes body wash, hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, cream, insect repellent and sunscreen. That’s 7 products though! Hmmm, so we need to cut down which means we need multi-functional products.
Then, we want it to be lightweight and practical. But lightweight means small, and we want to cut down on single use plastic, so we need to make sure it is a concentrated formula so it lasts longer! And practical for us means easy to tag along to the shower or river, and easy to use.
Our solution then was to create: multi-functional skin care products in a concentrated formula, packed in small lightweight easy to use tubes!
As you can see, at the start of our journey we knew what we wanted. We also knew we loved nature and wanted our products to be safe for nature, and safe for you to use no matter your skin type.
So, after over a year of researching and sourcing the perfect ingredients we created our perfect three essential, convenient and functional products:

The dual-purpose natural insect repellent, keeps your skin hydrated and the bugs at bay.
Our special broad spectrum cream formula not only protects you from the sun, but keeps your skin nourished. Designed for maximum protection against UVA and UVB rays. Good for the whole family including people with sensitive skin.
✅ All three The Intrepid Explorer tubes contain 60ml of product and only weigh 170g all together when full. That’s roughly the weight of three average sized eggs. Now that’s light!
✅ When using all three our products on your adventure you also get to save on bringing your cream, as all our products have hydrating properties, so no need for that extra bottle/tub/tube!

❌ It might be a bit pricier than you are used to. But remember it’s a concentrated formula, so it goes a lot further! Eg: our Hair and Body Wash gives you a minimum of 110 washes if used correctly vs the average shampoo and conditioner giving you an average of 30 washes, and a body wash giving you and average of 28 washes. That’s over 3 months of use vs 1 month.
